Bicon’s International Courses are intended to meet the needs of either the experienced specialist, those wishing to incorporate implants into their daily practice and the recently graduated general practitioner. These courses range from informal introductory tutorials to more advanced hands-on opportunities.

Comprehensive Two-day Course
A comprehensive didactic and clinical two-day course to provide the information and skills necessary to incorporate implants into your daily practice. The course includes lectures, video demonstrations, hands-on on models and clinical observation. The participants in this course will obtain the necessary level of confidence and comfort using and working with the Bicon system.

Cartagena Surgical Course
Bicon's international training facility at the University of Cartagena offers dentists the unique opportunity of placing multiple implants in several patients. During the three day program, each participant will place approximately eight implants. Doctors Shadi Daher, an American Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon from Boston, Massachusetts, and Mauro Marincola, a German and Italian trained dentist from Rome, Italy, will assist the University’s faculty in the selection and treatment of patients. » Click here for more information

Two Day Basic Course
This two day course includes an introduction and overview of dental implants. We will review anatomy, surgical and prosthetic principles and patient selection guidelines. In addition, we will discuss the pre and post operative care, surgical template fabrication, two stage and one-stage surgical techniques and restorative options available with the Bicon Dental Implant system.

Rome Practical Course
During this three-day comprehensive didactic and hands-on program, course
attendees will have the opportunity to attend lectures and participate with
implant placement surgeries and techniques for the revolutionary Integrated
Abutment Crown™ (IAC). The first day features the surgical techniques of
the Bicon Dental Implant System and will allow you to perform various stages
of the implant placement. The second day features the techniques for impressions,

Theory and Concepts
This course will discuss ARZ (Aim Risk Zero) concepts and procedures, the
Bicon Implant System and case studies, short implants (6.0 x 5.7mm), immediate
stabilization and function technique, and stable and simple o-ring denture

Clinical Observation
This is a day of assisting at the surgery of Clive Debenham or Geoffrey
Pullen. You will become increasingly involved as the day develops. Many dentists
arrange for one of their patients to be treated later in the day.
